DAY 1:NAIROBI TO ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK
On this day you will be met by Bamba Adventures and Events representative and after a short briefing you will depart Nairobi at 0600 hrs:
You will drive through the great Rift valley to Nakuru and then take the Nyahururu road to Aberdare in Nyeri a distance of 350Km.The 7hours journey will get you to the lodge where we shall spend 2 nights within the heart of the Aberdare national park where you game view from the balconies of your tree hotel
During the safari you will also (OPTIONALLY)tourOlPejeta/ Sweetwaters conservancy with game viewing drives to view Rhino, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevys Zebra, Elephants, Waterbuck, Bush-back, Chimpanzees and more.

Nairobi – Aberdare National Park: (350 km – Approx. 7 hours)

Proceed to the Aberdare national park.
The drive is via the central Kenya highlands with stops to view tea and coffee plantations.
There shall be a further stop to see and experience the largest open air market in East Africa at Karatina
Afternoon and evening spent game viewing from the balconies of your Tree lodge (animals come to the saltlick /waterhole).
The Aberdare national park is home to elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others.
Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker.
Day 2: ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK
FULL DAY: Aberdare National Park, Nyeri Kenya
Picturesque, steep forested ravines and open moorland characterise the Aberdare National Park. The park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker. Visitors can indulge in picnics, trout fishing in the rivers and camping in the moorlands. Bird viewing is rewarding, with over 250 species of birds in the park, including the Jackson’s Francolin, Sparrow hawks, goshawks, eagles, sunbirds and plovers.

RETURN: Aberdare National Park, Nyeri Kenya-Nairobi
Today you will check out early then say bye to the steep forested ravines and open moorland that characterize the Aberdare National Park, the habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others and the Bird viewing is rewarding, with over 250 species of birds in the park, Duration: 3 hours
